Under Wraps Advanced Ceramics Show Spring 2009

My installation for this show are the Marionettes. They are to appeal to your emotions just as an actor would on stage. Personifications of different pathos. I used sources from Japanese animation and puppetry as well as from the Czech Republic (http://www.czechmarionettes.com). I chose the theme of puppets to convey how our emotions are simply reactions to environment, family, friends, partners/spouses, society, politics and religion.
